Several organizations, departments and young people attended a summit on alcohol and drug abuse in the West Coast. The summit was presented by the West Coast District Municipality in co-operation with local municipalities and was held in the Wesbank community centre on 13 June. MEC Lennit Max (Safety and Security Western Cape) was the guest speaker at the function and spoke about the difficult decisions he had to deal with during his childhood.
